We are thrilled to announce that OperaPrima pizza shaper will be in action in London, at the 6th edition of European Pizza and Pasta Show (EPPS), the largest food service exhibition in the UK. Come to stand F41 in the Olympia Exhibition Centre to discover the special features of OperaPrima from Wednesday 22nd to Thursday 23rd June 2022.

OperaPrima at the EPPS 2022 in London

After appearing at the end of March in Paris at Parizza and in May in Chicago at the National Restaurant Association Show (NRA), where OperaPrima impressed the public with its unique features, the Italian automatic pizza shaper will demonstrate its capabilities in London. The appointment is set at stand F41 where our UK distributor, White’s Foodservice Equipment, has set up a dedicated area to allow visitors to see for themselves the ease of use and speed of execution of OperaPrima, features that improve the efficiency and productivity of all types of pizzerias. Furthermore, it will be possible to taste the pizzas rolled out thanks to the patented cold-processing technology, ensuring an artisanal and high-quality result, like that of the hands of an expert pizza maker.

Important news

The 2022 edition of European Pizza & Pasta Show marks the beginning of a new era: in fact, in December 2021, Bellavita Expo, the main Mediterranean Food & Beverage B2B trade show in the UK to the promotion of Italian cuisine in the world, acquired European Pizza and Pasta Show, creating one of the largest international events related to the HoReCa sector in the UK and Europe. Following the acquisition of EPPS by Bellavita Expo Ltd, the eighth edition of Bellavita Expo London – the largest trade show dedicated to Mediterranean Food & Beverage in the United Kingdom – joins the main European event dedicated to pizza, pasta and bakery by sharing the Olympia National Hall exhibition centre in London. Veronafiere and Fiere di Parma have an equity holding in Bellavita Expo through VPE, the company created in 2017 between the two trade fair organizers, whose respective Vinitaly and Cibus events represent major sectors in the Italian agro-food industry, in terms of export value as well as the image of the country system. Bellavita Expo is the leading B2B trade show dedicated to the promotion of Italian food and beverage products organising every year ten events organised in London, Hamburg, Warsaw, Parma, Toronto, Chicago, Mexico City, Bangkok, Riga and Amsterdam. In 2019, over 1,000 Italian companies joined the Bellavita Expo events around the world.
With this acquisition also the most representative gastronomic product of Made in Italy, the pizza, becomes part of Bellavita’s international trade show offer and the eighth edition of Bellavita Expo London, the largest trade show dedicated to Mediterranean food & beverage in the UK, thus joins the main European event dedicated to pizza, pasta and bakery, sharing the Olympia National Hall exhibition centre in London. Organised with the support of Vinitalyand Cibus, and in association with PAPA – The Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association, the two events complement each other, creating a unique opportunity for the UK and European catering and retail sectors. In addition to manufacturers of pasta, pizza, flour, ovens, pizza equipment, wine, condiments, charcuterie, cheese and food technology, the show also expands its product categories to include more plant-based foods and beverages and will launch the License To Bake – Artisan Bakery and Food-Tech Show.

The exhibition

The 6th edition of the European Pizza & Pasta Show is set to be the largest food service exhibition in the UK. EPPS 2022 will be co-located with Bellavita Expo, showcasing the best brands of products, ingredients, equipment and services for the pizza and pasta industry. The event responds to the increased demand in the bakery and foodtech sector with specialty food, plant-based products, beverage and ice cream as add-ons completing the enhanced offer to all attending buyers. The event’s Cooking Stages will offer exciting new challenges for pizza and pasta chefs and a platform for industry live discussions and networking.
